Trinidad & Tobago · Martinique · Guatemala · 40% alc./vol.
EMBARGO is one-of-a-kind rum. It is the result of three types of rums never blended before: molasses rum (Trinidad & Tobago), cane rum (Guatemala), and agricultural rum (Martinique).
In the Caribbean, there are French-speaking supporters of rhum agricole and English/Spanish-speaking fans of molasses rum. Embargo wanted to synthesize the qualities of these two families of rum — benefiting from the aromatic nose of great agricultural rums and the creamy and digestible palate of molasses rums.
